Terms of Service
The agreement, in plain terms.
These terms cover your use of Take Interest products, services, and website. Using our apps or site means you agree to what follows.
Last updated: October 19, 2026
1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the products, services, and website provided by Take Interest Inc. ("Take Interest," "we," "our," or "us"), including the Take Interest workspace, GuardClaw security platform, the Pantry Kitchen Journal iOS app, Felt Weather, Askwell, Pulley, and the website at takeinterest.ai (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our Services. Recipe and freshness information presented by Pantry Kitchen Journal consists of generated options and estimates for your consideration, not professional, dietary, or food-safety advice. You remain responsible for safe food handling, cooking, and allergen decisions.
2. Eligibility
The Take Interest workspace and AI agents. You must be at least 18 to use the Take Interest workspace or any feature where an AI agent acts for you. By signing up you confirm you are 18 or older. If you are under 18, please don't use them.
Our apps. An app that states its own age requirement in its own terms follows that requirement, and no app's requirement is ever below 13. GuardClaw's terms, for example, set 13, or 16 in the EEA.
Everything else. For the rest of our Services you must be at least 13, and if you are under 18 you need a parent's or guardian's consent. By using our Services, you represent and warrant that you meet the requirement that applies to you.
3. Account Registration
To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to: provide accurate and complete information, maintain the security of your account credentials, enable and maintain multi-factor authentication as required, and notify us immediately of any unauthorized access. You are responsible for all activity under your account. During our invite-only beta period, access is restricted to users on our allowlist.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: use our Services for any illegal purpose, attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts, interfere with the integrity or availability of our Services, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble our software (except as permitted by applicable law), use our Services to develop a competing product, transmit malware, viruses, or other harmful code, or circumvent any security measures or access controls.
You also agree not to use our Services, or any AI agent running in them, to do any of the following.
- Send spam or unsolicited bulk messages, including unsolicited bulk email, or phish or commit fraud.
- Make anyone believe that a message or content an agent produced came only from a person, or pretend to be someone else.
- Get around another website's or service's rules on automated access, scraping, account limits or abuse detection, or create or run many accounts to avoid those rules.
- Fake engagement, reviews, clicks or followers.
- Reach any account, system or data you aren't allowed to use.
- Build profiles of people from private details they didn't agree to share, or track people across services without their consent.
- Make or carry out decisions about someone's employment, finances, credit, housing, insurance, legal matters or access to public benefits without a qualified person reviewing them first and without telling the person affected that AI was used.
- Use our Services for any clinical purpose, as a substitute for professional medical advice, or in any way overseen by or needing a regulator's clearance or approval.
- Transmit, store or process health information that is subject to US HIPAA rules.
- Send us or an agent material covered by export-control rules, including ITAR.
- Carry out any high-risk activity, meaning anything where a failure would reasonably be expected to lead to death, injury, or environmental or property damage.
Our AI features run on models and cloud services from other companies, and your use of them also has to follow those companies' usage rules. Those include Google's Acceptable Use Policy and Generative AI Prohibited Use Policy, and, where a feature uses Anthropic's Claude models, Anthropic's Usage Policy.
4A. AI Agents That Act for You
Some of our Services include AI agents. An agent is software that can read, write and take steps in the tools you connect, like your email, calendar, documents and chat. An agent only works in a tool after you or your organization connect it, and it acts under rules the account owner sets.
You decide how much to hand off. A new kind of action starts out waiting for a person to approve it. Once you trust how an agent handles it, you can set it to run on its own, and from then on you're kept informed instead of asked each time. You can change that setting back whenever you want.
Agents say they are AI. Every agent in the workspace has to say it is an AI agent when it talks or writes to anyone outside your account, and that rule can't be switched off. Messages our own AI agents send through our outreach and email tools say they came from an AI agent.
A record of what agents do. When the workspace opens to customers, each action an agent takes will be recorded, and you'll be able to see that record.
Some actions only run under your rules. Sending or sharing anything outside your account, accepting terms, making or approving a payment, and deleting something that can't be undone run only under rules the account owner has set, and they will be recorded like every other agent action.
Agents can get things wrong. An AI agent can make mistakes and can act in ways you didn't intend, so check what matters before you rely on it. You're responsible for the rules you set and what you authorize an agent to do, for having the right to connect the accounts and data you connect, and for following the rules of the other services you point an agent at, including their rules on automated use. If the work runs on an AI account you or your organization provide, charges on that account are yours.
We can pause an agent. We may pause or stop any agent at once if we believe it is breaking these Terms or a provider's rules, or putting someone at risk.
5. Intellectual Property
5.1 Our Property
Take Interest, Take Interest, GuardClaw, and all associated logos, designs, and content are the intellectual property of Take Interest Inc. You may not use our trademarks without prior written permission.
5.2 Your Content
You retain ownership of all content you create using our Services ("User Content"). By using our Services, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your User Content solely to provide the Services to you. We do not claim ownership of your User Content. We do not use your User Content to train machine learning models, our own or any third party's, unless you turn training on. Training is a separate choice you make on its own, and you can turn it back off. One exception is written into the GuardClaw free tier: free tier decision receipts are included in our detection training set as a condition of the free service, and paid plans can turn that off. See our Privacy Policy Section 3.4 for the full statement and Section 3.3 for how any change to our data practices happens. We do not share your User Content with third parties except as strictly required to provide the Services (for example cloud storage and AI inference providers acting as sub-processors under data-processing terms) or as required by law. Aggregated, de-identified usage signals such as counts and timings may be used to improve the Services. Those signals do not include User Content.
6. GuardClaw: Specific Terms
GuardClaw is provided as a security tool for AI agent environments. GuardClaw is not a guarantee of security. While we work to detect and prevent security threats, no security solution can guarantee complete protection. You remain responsible for the overall security of your systems. GuardClaw should be used as one part of a comprehensive security strategy, alongside the other controls you run.
Agent Management and Monitoring: When agent management features are enabled, GuardClaw may monitor agent processes including resource usage, heartbeat status, and behavioral anomaly scores. Authorized administrators may issue control commands (pause, stop, kill) to individual agents or all agents in a workspace. Agent supervisors may automatically pause or terminate agents that exceed resource limits or exhibit anomalous behavior.
Telemetry: The GuardClaw CLI collects anonymous telemetry by default to improve security patterns. You can disable telemetry at any time with guardclaw telemetry disable. See our Privacy Policy for full details on what is and is not collected.
7. Beta Services
Certain features or services may be designated as "beta," "preview," or "early access." Beta services are provided "as is" and may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without notice. Beta services may contain bugs or errors and are not guaranteed to be feature-complete.
8. Payment Terms
Certain Services may require payment. If applicable, fees are as stated at the time of purchase, payments are processed by Stripe, subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled, refunds are handled in accordance with our refund policy, and we may change fees with 30 days' notice. A free tier may collect product usage data to fund and improve the Services. A paid tier that collects no product usage analytics remains available as a product choice. You may cancel a paid tier as described in the product or billing flow, and we will honor applicable US and state cancellation rights.
9. Privacy
Your use of our Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at takeinterest.ai/legal/privacy. The Privacy Policy describes what each product collects on the date at the top of that page, and Section 3.3 of it describes what may change.
What may change. How we fund and improve our products will change over time. We may run advertising or sponsored placement, use analytics and tracking technologies including cookies and similar technologies, share data with partners for advertising or measurement on a consent basis where the law asks for consent, offer you the choice to let your data help train our models, and use data to build features that do not exist yet. Any such change is written into the Privacy Policy before it starts, applies going forward only, and leaves data we already collected under the rules that were in force when we collected it.
What holds across every change. Training on your content is opt-in and is a separate choice you can turn back off. You can turn data collection off on any tier, free or paid, and a paid tier that collects no product usage analytics stays available as a product choice. We do not run covert collection, and we follow United States federal and state privacy law. California residents and others with state privacy rights may request access, deletion, and correction, opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, limit the use of sensitive personal information, and exercise cancellation rights, all as described in the Privacy Policy. Equivalent rights under GDPR and UK GDPR apply where those laws reach you.
Some account, payment, security, and legal records are processed whatever your settings say, because they are needed to operate the Services, prevent abuse, complete transactions, or meet a legal duty.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
OUR SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT OUR SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Take Interest INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OUR SERVICES, REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR $100.
These limits cover what Take Interest owes you. They don't limit what you owe us under Section 12, including for claims that come from misuse of an AI agent, and they don't limit any liability that the law doesn't allow to be limited.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Take Interest Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of our Services or violation of these Terms.
This includes any claim, including one a cloud or model provider brings against us, that comes from what an AI agent did under your instructions or the rules you set, from content or data you connected or told an agent to use, or from your use of our Services in breach of Section 4 or of a provider's rules listed there. It doesn't cover a claim to the extent our own breach of these Terms caused it.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to our Services at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Upon termination: your right to use the Services ceases immediately, you may request export of your User Content within 30 days, and we will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us.
14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our Services shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
15. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our Services after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using our Services.
16. General Provisions
Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Take Interest Inc. regarding the Services. Where a product has its own terms, such as GuardClaw's, those terms govern that product if they conflict with these.
Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force.
Waiver: Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision.
Assignment: You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights without restriction.
